Compare a piece in four steps
- Read the character's talents. Identify the stat that affects their healing, shield or damage, and whether their Burst needs to be ready regularly. Different abilities on the same character can scale differently.
- Check the main stat. Flowers have flat HP and feathers flat ATK; sands, goblets and circlets have varying possibilities. Choose one useful for this character before judging a pile of substats.
- Check the set and substats together. A set bonus can matter, but a temporary off-set piece with a useful main stat may be better than forcing a poor piece just to complete a set. Compare the actual effects and your current alternatives.
- Test the team. If a Burst is not ready when needed, add Energy Recharge or adjust the team and rotation before chasing damage stats. If survivability or healing is insufficient, consider that requirement too.

Enhance a promising piece gradually and review the result before investing more materials. Stat needs vary with character, weapon, teammates and rotation; the on-screen talent descriptions and a practical fight are better guides than a universal score threshold.
