Start with the small neutral camp near your safe lane. A stack creates another group of neutrals; a pull draws your lane creeps into the camp to change the lane equilibrium. The two actions use different timings.

A teammate being chased does not automatically mean you should teleport. Check whether the destination is safe, whether arriving can change the fight, and what happens to the lane you leave. If you cannot answer those questions yet, watch the minimap and communicate rather than teleporting into a second death.
