Clash of Clans resource farming: a low Town Hall attack routine
At Town Hall 4–6, look for reachable collectors and a useful loot amount, attack with troops you have unlocked, then spend what you earn on a planned upgrade. You do not need to clear every base: take the buildings that hold the resource you need, while weighing loot against the stars you can reasonably earn.
