Clash of Clans: when should you upgrade your Town Hall?
For a newer Home Village player, a good default is to upgrade when your main attack is working, essential research is underway or finished, and you have a plan for your builders and resources. You do not have to max every wall first. Equally, upgrading repeatedly while ignoring your army can leave you with new buildings but an attack that struggles to fund them.
