Resident Evil Requiem Care Center Puzzle Boxes: Get All Three Quartz Pieces

The indented door in the Care Center's Central Hall needs Moon, Sun and Star Quartz. Enter symbols for the first two boxes; the last uses braille, so bring Emily to read it. This guide gives the answers and spoils part of Grace's early story.

West Wing, Chairman's Office:        Moon → Sun → Star → Moon
East Wing, Lead Researcher's Office:  Star → Sun → Moon → Sun
Isolation Ward, Security Manager:     Bring Emily to the box

Sources label the Chairman's Office floor differently, possibly due to floor-numbering conventions. Use the room name on your in-game map. PowerPyx says the main box solutions are the same across difficulties, but we haven't tested each difficulty ourselves. Don't confuse these symbols with safe codes, which can vary by difficulty.

Moon Quartz: find the pencil

Go to the West Wing Chairman's Office. To see the clue yourself, collect the pencil from the back room, return to the main office and use it on the paper to reveal the words.

To open the box, enter Moon → Sun → Star → Moon. Take the Moon Quartz. You can return to the Central Hall and place it in its matching slot to free inventory space. Read the symbols themselves rather than borrowing left/right positions from another box.

Sun Quartz: remove the padlock

Visit the East Wing Lead Researcher's Office. Its box has a padlock; the symbols won't open it while the lock remains. Go along the hall outside to the Conference Room for Corrosive. Enemies occupy the corridor and room, so identify a retreat route before going in; you don't need to rush blindly for the bottle.

Bring the Corrosive back and use it on the puzzle-box padlock. To find the clue, examine the backgrounds in the office photos: two photographs show the first and second halves of the sequence. Enter Star → Sun → Moon → Sun and collect the Sun Quartz and notebook. The notebook provides a later transport-box clue; it isn't the quartz itself.

Star Quartz: bring Emily

After obtaining the Level 2 Wristband, enter the Isolation Ward's Security Manager's Office. Examine the note on the table and the puzzle box, then follow the scene to obtain the Level 3 Wristband. There's no need to keep guessing the braille box yourself.

Return to the Medication Room, use the Level 3 Wristband at Emily's cell and carry her back to the Security Manager's box. She handles the puzzle. Grace can't normally fight while carrying her; if enemies remain on the route, put Emily on the safe-room couch, clear the path, then return for her. Protect her through the following encounter and follow the scene to obtain the Star Quartz.

Return to Central Hall

With the three pieces, return to the indented door and insert each quartz in its matching slot. If a slot won't accept an item, check that you're holding the correct quartz rather than a file. If a box can't be operated yet, revisit its padlock, wristband or Emily story step. Quartz already inserted no longer needs to be found in your inventory.
