Build your first preset
- Open the character page and its skill preset section. Choose a preset and inspect which active and passive skills your account can equip.
- Decide what you need most: getting to cover, surviving a push or supporting a teammate. Choose an active skill suited to that job; for example, Alok's aura offers movement and healing according to Garena's character description.
- Fill available passive slots with effects that help the same plan. Read each trigger: a conditional bonus is useful only when you can meet its condition. Don't spend currency just to copy someone else's list.
- Save the preset and play a few comparable matches. Note when you pressed the active button, whether it helped, and which passive rarely triggered. Change one skill and test again.

Treat these as selection principles, not guaranteed combinations. Skills you own, slot rules and event effects vary; read the current preset screen. Some special modes or events have offered additional active-skill mechanics, so don't assume their rules apply everywhere. Garena's 2023 redesign introduced preset customization and changed progression; old guides asking you to level every skill may be outdated.
