Quick answer

Separate frequently picked plants, temporary crops and access space without claiming a maximum-yield layout.

Put plants you will pick repeatedly where they are easy to reach, reserve a patch for temporary crops, and leave space to see and interact between them. This is a beginner-friendly access plan, not a maximum-yield layout.

Divide the plot by use

This is a concept sketch, not an in-game capture, exact grid or scale diagram. Your plot, plants and camera view can differ.

Use “frequent picks” for plants you plan to keep and harvest again; reserve “temporary crops” for single-harvest plants or seeds you want to try. Don't copy a path width from the sketch: check that your character and camera can see and select the targets.

Plant in this order

  1. Find your working position. Rotate the camera from beside your plot. Check where you enter and, on a phone, where your finger obscures the view. Don't spend every seed at once.
  2. Plant a few repeat-harvest crops. Equip a seed and click on PC or tap the brown soil on mobile. Leave space, then rotate the camera to check that future fruit will be visible.
  3. Keep access and a spare area. Try walking up and selecting each plant with your own controls. If one blocks the view or causes misclicks, place later seeds in the spare area rather than filling every spot.
  4. Try one harvest. Pick mature produce and check the inventory to see whether fruit is easy to find. Then decide whether to add plants or rearrange. Before removing an existing plant, check the in-game action and any cost.

What stays when space is tight?

If you return regularly and can afford them, keep repeat-harvest plants you can actually reach; use a small open area for single-harvest crops. If a large plant hides other fruit, count ease of picking in the trade-off instead of looking only at one fruit's sale price.

Values vary with crop, weight and mutations. This layout has not been measured for income per minute and is not claimed as the most profitable. Adapt the concept sketch to your plot.
