Start with a layout you can reach without covering the target or fighting your own fingers. Keep the movement area comfortable, make the fire button easy to hit, and leave space to drag the aiming view. Then practise one sensitivity setting at a time; a famous player’s code is a starting point, not a guaranteed headshot setting.

This guide is for touch controls. Button labels and available presets can change with updates, so use the current game screen.
Set up a usable layout
- Open the game settings and find the HUD controls. Garena’s OB52 notes place its HUD Recommendation System under Settings → HUD; check the current menu if your version looks different.
- Choose a basic layout. Place movement on the side where your thumb naturally rests, and keep fire, aim and cover-related controls reachable without overlapping. Do not move every button at once.
- Save or note the original layout before making changes. Test whether you can move, aim and fire without lifting a finger across the target. If you repeatedly hit the wrong button, move or resize that button and test again.
- If importing a shared HUD, read the confirmation: Garena says shared codes can include sensitivity and allow a choice about syncing it. Keep your existing sensitivity if you only want to try the layout.
Practise aim in the training area
Enter the Training Grounds and use the target range. Garena’s update notes describe a range settings panel that can adjust shooting sensitivity. Start at a comfortable distance with one familiar weapon.
- Aim at a stationary target without firing. Sweep across it slowly and stop with the reticle on the target. Repeat from both sides.
- Fire short bursts while keeping the reticle near the target. If it rises away, practise a small counter-movement rather than dragging wildly.
- Move sideways between bursts. Check whether your fingers can move and aim together without accidentally hitting another button.
- Change only the sensitivity related to the problem by a small amount, record the old and new values, then repeat the same drill. If you consistently overshoot, try a lower value; if you cannot turn far enough with a comfortable swipe, try a higher one.
Take the setting into a match
Play a low-pressure match with the same layout. Afterwards, identify one issue: wrong button, aim overshooting, or difficulty moving and firing together. Return to training and adjust that issue only. Screen size, touch response and personal movement differ, so do not copy a numeric sensitivity as if it works for every device.
