Quick answer

Before each Clash Squad round, check your CS Cash, current equipment and teammates' needs. Buy a weapon you can use, then spend what remains on protection or utility if available. You don't have to buy the most expensive gun every round.

A quick buying order

  1. Check what you already have. Look at your weapon and equipment before replacing anything. The available store and prices can change by update or mode.
  2. Cover your role. If you expect to fight close, choose a familiar close-range weapon; if your team needs someone covering an open lane, choose for that distance.
  3. Keep yourself useful. If the store offers armor, healing or Gloo Walls and you can afford them, weigh those against a weapon upgrade. A cheaper familiar gun plus useful equipment can be a better plan.
  4. Talk before the timer ends. Tell teammates if you are short of cash. If the request feature is available, request an item; a teammate can choose to help. Don't assume anyone will buy it.

After a win or loss

After a win, check your remaining gear and cash before replacing it. After a loss, compare what you can afford with your team's plan: buying a comfortable cheaper weapon and staying together may be more useful than one player spending everything on a costly gun. Exact rewards and carryover depend on the current rules; check the round screen.

Garena has added teammate weapon information, a CS Cash notification and an item-request feature, but menus and event mechanics can change. Use the controls shown in your current match. Coordinate an opening route and save utility for a planned push or retreat.
