The Goblin Camp is not necessarily a fight from the first gate. You can try dialogue, look for another entrance, or attack; each choice changes the danger and may affect the Grove quest.

Get inside
At the outer guards, speak before drawing weapons and read the available checks. Depending on your character and choices, deception, persuasion or other dialogue can get you past. Failed checks can lead to trouble, so prepare the party before talking. The camp's main entrance leads into the Shattered Sanctum; alternative routes exist if you explore the surroundings.
If you choose stealth, separate a scout, watch sightlines and avoid walking the whole group into a restricted area. If you attack, expect nearby enemies to join: take cover, control chokepoints and avoid spending every spell before reaching your goal.
Before deciding the Grove’s fate
Inside, you can learn more about the leaders and Halsin. Telling Minthara the Grove’s location can initiate the raid quest; it is a story decision, not merely a way to enter the camp. Conversely, fighting the leaders may turn the area hostile. Check your journal, finish any conversations you care about, and make a manual save if your difficulty allows before a major commitment.
The exact dialogue available depends on your character and earlier events. Do not assume a disguise or one check guarantees a peaceful route.
