Quick answer

Store a physical fruit, check duplicate capacity and understand what eating a replacement does.

Found a physical fruit and haven't decided what to eat? Store it first, decide later. Storing keeps the fruit as an item; eating switches the fruit power you currently use. Those are different actions.

Store the fruit in your hand

  1. Get somewhere safe, select the physical fruit and hold it. Click the screen on PC or tap it on mobile to open the fruit options. Choose Store, not Eat or Drop.
  2. Open Menu → Items and find the fruit in the fruit category or by searching its name. Confirm it appears there before continuing or leaving.
  3. If storage fails, check whether you already stored that same fruit. Standard capacity is one of each type; extra capacity is a separate purchase, not a requirement for storing the first copy.

An unstored physical fruit carried when you die or leave can be lost. A stored fruit also cannot be dropped like one that has never been stored; check the current in-game options before withdrawing or trading it.

To take a stored fruit out, open Menu → Items, select the fruit and choose Unstore. Once it is back in your hand, treat it as exposed again: return it to storage before taking risks, and check the current menu if an option is unavailable.

What if you eat it?

Eating a new fruit replaces the power currently equipped. A normal fruit power already eaten cannot simply be turned back into its original unused physical fruit for storage. Permanent fruits have a separate re-equipping mechanism; do not treat them as ordinary physical fruits. If you are unsure about switching powers, choose Store first.

Where do fruits come from?

Common routes include the Blox Fruit Dealer, a random physical fruit from the Gacha, or a fruit found spawning on the map. Buying a power from the dealer is not the same action as receiving a physical fruit to store: check whether the purchase replaces your current power, as well as its price and stock. A random result does not guarantee your desired fruit, and extra storage is not needed for the first copy.
