Choose islands by level, accept the matching quest, shorten return trips and prepare for Second Sea.
Start with the loop quest giver → named enemies → reward → accept again. You don't need to wait for a powerful fruit before leveling. Pick a quest you can clear reliably with a short trip between the giver and enemies. The levels below are route guidance; use the in-game quest requirements as the final check.
Find the next island by level
| Level guide | Island | Check first |
|---|---|---|
| 1–14 | Pirate Starter or Marine Starter | Accept Bandit or Trainee quests and repeat close to the giver |
| 15–29 | Jungle | Choose a suitable Monkey quest and check later options as you level |
| 30–59 | Pirate Village | Start with Pirate quests; compare later targets and return distance when eligible |
| 60–89 | Desert | Check the Desert Bandit quest and its requirement |
| 90–119 | Frozen Village | Check Snow Bandit; the Ability Teacher is nearby too |
| 120–149 | Marine Fortress | Compare available quests including Chief Petty Officer targets |
| 150–189 | Skylands | Check Sky Bandits from 150 and Dark Masters from 175 |
| 190–299 | Prison | Start with eligible Prisoner quests; a boss isn't mandatory every cycle |
| 300–374 | Magma Village | Check Military Soldier quests; watch the terrain and enemy damage |
| 375–449 | Underwater City | Check Fishman quests and make sure you can travel and defeat targets reliably |
| 450–624 | Later Skylands areas | Check currently available Sky quests; areas and enemy levels differ |
| 625–699 | Fountain City | Check Galley Pirate quests; prepare the Second Sea prerequisites at 700 |
From level 225, Colosseum is another option: check the Toga Warrior quest, then Gladiator at level 275. Compare your clear time and travel distance with Prison before switching.
Each island can offer several quests and higher-level enemies. The table is not an order to fight every enemy immediately or the only fastest route. If the next area is slow or keeps defeating you, return to a quest you can finish consistently, improve stats or equipment, then try again.
Three things to do on each island
- Find the local quest giver and accept a quest that matches your level and the named enemy. Wait for the on-screen progress before fighting.
- Learn the round trip between giver and enemies. Defeat one to check the counter, then repeat; accept the quest again after each completed cycle.
- Use the in-game map or navigation to locate the next destination and check any available home-point setting. Updates can move terrain or NPCs, so don't rely on fixed coordinates from an old map.
If fruit skills do most of your damage, build Blox Fruit; if you use a sword, consider Sword. Keep up Melee energy and Defense health as well. If a quest needs a long journey or you cannot clear it reliably, use a neighboring quest you can complete instead of forcing the table's switch.
At level 700
Level 700 starts Second Sea access; it does not teleport you automatically. Visit the Military Detective at Prison, take the key to the Frozen Village cave and challenge Ice Admiral, then follow the instruction to the Experienced Captain in Middle Town. You can stay in First Sea to prepare equipment if you prefer; decide before sailing out.
