Follow an early route for Hozuki, storage refills and the Oni Bow without assuming unlimited supplies.
Start with the Default Hozuki Pouch for healing and gather Hozuki as you travel. At a Spirit Mirror you can refill from stock already in your storehouse. This is not unlimited free healing: without stored supplies, touching a mirror cannot create a full pouch from nothing.
An early supply route
- Progress to the Kiyomizu story mission The Stage is Set at Kiyomizu and follow the main path from The Approach. Gather Hozuki plants in the riverbed on the way west; excess beyond pouch capacity goes to the storehouse.
- Activate the Nio-mon Gate Spirit Mirror and check your pouch and stored stock. Touching a mirror restores health; pouch refills depend on available inventory, rather than creating new materials each time.
- The Default pouch heals immediately. Check the Hozuki Pouch input in control settings and test it safely. A community control table lists PC default E and controller D-pad up; follow your own screen if your layout or bindings differ.
- Continue the mission through the thread barriers and temple, then use Oni Vision on the Oni Glyph to enter the cave. Activate the Hall Spirit Mirror and find the Oni Bow chest along the path. The bow can shoot circular mechanisms and interact with targets at range.
Keep pouches and weapons distinct

Read the effect before equipping another pouch: not all restore health. To change or enhance a pouch, speak to Okuni; requirements and availability depend on your current screen.
The mirror did not refill the pouch?
Check your pouch and storehouse for Hozuki, then check the equipped pouch and its effect. Gather more along accessible routes if stock is low. If the conditions seem right but it still fails, preserve the save and record the mission, platform and version rather than deleting data.
